Version 7.3.2026
This patch brings balancing updates to the Stocks module, based off ideas from my focus testing group. Everything done is listed below in the Changes section:
Stocks: stock info no longer shows the base price, removing the ability to calculate price floors or predict the mean reversion target
Stocks: each stock's internal anchor price slowly wanders over time, so there's no fixed "magnet" to trade against
Stocks: the strength of price reversion is now randomised each tick, making recovery speed unpredictable even when a stock is clearly undervalued
Stocks: minimum price a stock can reach quietly changes every few hours, so the bottom is never a known quantity
Stocks: a stock crashing hard in one tick now drags its sector peers down slightly, making floor-buying riskier
Stocks: users can now hold a maximum of 50,000 total shares across all stocks; anyone already over the limit can sell freely but can't buy more until they're back under ;)
Stocks: each stock carries a unique 2–5% buy fee that quietly re-rolls every ~6 hours, making reflexive bulk-buying meaningfully more expensive
